There are several motorhome pitch reserved signs on the market, but they all fall short of the mark - especially for use on a hard-standing pitch. A pitch reserved sign with a stake simply cannot be used effectively on a hard-standing. We therefore determined to produce a motorhome pitch reserved sign that we would be happy to use on our motorhome travels.

Free-standing on a hard standing pitch
The A-sign is a durable and personalised plastic 'A' frame motorhome pitch reserved sign for use when you are touring and you need to be away from site. It can also be used as a parking place reservation sign, as it is freestanding and does not need a stake or spike to keep it in place.
Larger than other signs
The A-sign is 24 inches high (61cm) x 12 inches wide (30.5cm) at the bottom. It has a hinge at the top and folds to a neat 1 inch (2.5cm) thick for easy storage in a locker.
What about windy days?
Simply take an empty 2 litre plastic bottle plus a length of string with you. When on site, if it is windy, fill the plastic bottle with water and suspend the bottle from the centre hinge of the A-sign so it hangs about 2 inches from the ground. This will provide a substantial amount of stability at no cost. When you leave, empty the water and store the plastic bottle until the next stop.
Shows your vehicle registration number
We use a high quality, exterior grade, 5 year self-adhesive vinyl using solvent inks which are a minimum of 3 years water / UV & scratch resistant. And that’s if it is outside all the time (24 hours a day) – which this sign won’t be of course! The vinyl is applied to one side of the sign only. A double-sided pitch reserved sign costs just £7 extra. We use red letters 3cm high.
Personalised with photo of your vehicle
Please send the photograph in landscape format (sideways) and as a good quality digital file. The higher resolution you use the better for our purposes. If you are unable to take a photograph (or don’t want to), then we are happy to use a generic photo of a van conversion, coachbuilt etc to reflect the style of your vehicle.
Features 3 languages of your choice
The standard A-sign is supplied with three languages as shown (English, French and German). However, we can personalise this to three languages of your choice, (such as Spanish, Italian and French) for example. If you require a language that we don't have on our keyboard (such as Chinese or Russian for example), please ask for a quote first!

For those who travel extensively, why not have a double-sided A-sign with, for example: English, French and Dutch on the front German, Italian and Spanish on the reverse You get the picture! You can make up your own combinations and be covered for 6 countries. The extra cost for a doublesided A-sign is just £7.
What if I change my vehicle?
There is no need to buy a brand new A-sign. Just advise us of the new registration, send us a new photo and choose your three languages. We’ll send you a pre-cut piece of self-adhesive vinyl with your new details so that you can apply it to your existing A-sign.
